As you may have already seen, we've been working hard making some changes to the front end of Radio.co.

We understand that any change can be challenging, especially when it comes to tools you use regularly. Here’s why we believe these updates are beneficial and how they will enhance your experience:

  1. Improved Performance and Reliability: We have not updated the underlaying framework of Radio.co since it’s launch in 2015. This has made it very difficult to provide improvements. The transition to a newer framework (React) allows us to deliver a faster, more stable application. This will mean quicker load times and a more seamless experience, reducing interruptions to your workflow.

  2. Responsive Design: Our new responsive layout ensures Radio.co Studio functions smoothly across all devices, including mobile and tablet, so no more pinching and zooming around the dashboard. This means you can manage your tasks efficiently, no matter where you are or what device you're using.

  3. Future-Proofing: By adopting modern frameworks, we’re setting a foundation for future improvements and features. This upgrade will enable us to innovate and introduce new functionalities more rapidly in the future.

  4. Consistency with Mobile App: The visual tweaks and updates aim to create a more cohesive look and feel across our web and mobile apps, making it easier for you to switch between them without a learning curve. If you haven’t downloaded the Radio.co Studio app yet, you can find it on both Apple App Store and Google Play.

  5. User Feedback: While most sections are a like-for-like recreation of the old pages, we have incorporated minor visual tweaks based on user feedback to enhance usability and aesthetics. This is more noticeable in Settings and the new tab options in the Media view. We have been trialling the new dashboard with our focus group who have had a positive experience with the new layout. If you’d be interested in joining the focus group for future projects please let us know.

We believe these changes will ultimately make your experience better and more efficient. We appreciate your patience and understanding as you get accustomed to the new layout. If you have any specific issues or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
