Overview

Got a good idea? All feedback is welcome. This means you get a better solution, we get happy broadcasters. Win-win. At a top level, your feedback goes on a long journey.

  1. Submit ideas πŸ’‘

  2. Review internally πŸ’¬

  3. Implement solutions πŸ”¨

But not every idea gets past the first stage. So you know what to expect, here's a rundown of our feedback policy.

All feedback is reviewed. From small tweaks to major structural changes, we take your ideas seriously to offer better radio solutions.

Radio.co's Approach to Feedback

Thousands of broadcasters use Radio.co daily. So we're building a platform people love, we take a lean product-led development approach to how we review and implement ideas. Meaning, we look critically at all feedback.

"Ideas are a dime a dozen. People who implement them are priceless."

For new ideas, we apply our core philosophy.

  • Relevant: What problem is it fixing and will it benefit a majority of broadcasters?

  • Intuitive: Can everyone understand and use it easily?

  • Timeline: How long will it take to develop and what's the priority?

We believe this approach helps us identify new opportunities to develop the most relevant features and fix pain points so you get more useful radio solutions.

How to Submit Feedback

The simplest way to share your feedback is through our forms. Just means your ideas are logged and you can view other people's suggestions.

Alternatively, message us and we'll submit the feedback on your behalf.

If the idea already exists, upvote to give the feature a higher priority and comment on how you think the solution should work or what should be considered. But be sure to submit the feedback to the correct form:

  • Web App: The browser-based dashboard, accessible on desktop and laptop.

  • Mobile App: The iOS and Android dashboard app.

To fast-track feedback, please be descriptive. Provide use cases so we can see first-hand how the solution would help both you and others.

How Feedback is Processed

Feedback is checked on a regular basis. For new submissions, expect the following.

  1. Submitted: New feedback goes into review. At this stage, your submission is public so anyone can vote and comment, even before the team review.

  2. Reviewed: Your submission gets evaluated based on the Radio.co philosophy of how relevant, intuitive, and the implementation time the solution will take to develop. The evaluation will be done in a meeting across departments like design, product, etc. That way a mixture of opinions from the business are heard, especially ones championing your voice.

  3. Updated: Once a decision is reached, the submission status will change, e.g. 'being considered', 'being developed', or 'closed'. The team may like your idea, but would need more votes to be properly considered.

If your feedback is implemented, once deployed to Radio.co your submission will be marked as live on the feedback board.

It's worth keeping an eye on your submissions to respond to queries, e.g. asking for use cases or supporting documentation.

FAQs

How long until my submission is reviewed?

Submissions are reviewed monthly. The oldest and most popular requests are reviewed first, so the sooner you submit your feedback, the better.

My submission hasn't been reviewed yet, what can I do?

Delays can happen. Whether a backlog or more time is needed, rest assured we have your submission. If you'd like an update then please contact support.

Why was my submission rejected?

Either the submission was a duplicate, the idea had already been rejected in the past, or not enough details were provided. In any case, you should receive an update on why your submission wasn't accepted.

What's the difference between Web App and Mobile App?

The web app is the place you go to on your desktop or laptop via your browser. Whereas the mobile app is the iOS or Android app available on The App Store and Google Play respectively for the Radio.co Studio (not the apps your listeners download to listen to your station). Both solutions offer tools to manage your radio station, one more robust for full control (web app), whilst the other is more condensed for quick actions (mobile app).
