What is Mixcloud Live?
Mixcloud Live is a pro feature on the Mixcloud platform for licensed live-streaming, built primarily for DJs, radio hosts, and audio creators. It's benefits are:
It's licensed, so you can share your live stream without worrying about it being taken down.
Live streams are discoverable on Mixcloud's Live tab, so there is potential to grow your audience.
It's the only way to share your radio shows live on Mixcloud. Normal radio shows (i.e. audio-only) can only be uploaded after they've finished.
It provides an option for your audience to tip you and send donations.
It offers a chatroom function.
It supports high quality audio, going up to 320 kbps.

What Mixcloud Live Can't Do
Mixcloud live is useful for broadcasters, but it does have some limitations. You can't:
Embed your Mixcloud live stream on your own website.
Save your Mixcloud live stream to replay.
How Does Mixcloud Live Work With Radio.co?
Mixcloud Live and Radio.co are integrated, meaning you can send your live Radio.co stream to Mixcloud with just a few clicks.
What You Need To Use The Mixcloud Live x Radio.co Integration
A Mixcloud Pro account.
A Radio.co Premium account. Upgrade here.
An image (1920 x 1080 pixels) you want to use with your stream.
How To Send Your Live Radio Stream To Mixcloud
1: Login and authorise
Sign in to your Mixcloud Pro account and login to Radio.co Studio.
In the Radio.co dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations and click the Connect Mixcloud Account button.
In the pop-out window, click Authorise. This adds your Radio.co account as a publisher to your Mixcloud account.
2: Add an image to your stream
In your Radio.co dashboard, click Video Streaming from the options on the left.
Click Choose image and upload your image from your computer.
When uploaded, you'll see your image along with Now Playing information.
It's this image, along with your audio, that will be streamed to Mixcloud Live.
⚡️ Pro Tip: Images need to be 1920 x 1080 pixels and in jpg or png format.
Once uploaded, it'll look like this:
3: Start Live Stream
1) When you've uploaded your image and you're ready to start streaming on Mixcloud, click Start Video Stream.
The status at the top will change to 🟢 Currently Streaming which means your radio stream, image and Now Playing information is now being sent to Mixcloud.

FAQ
I have a webcam, why can't I send a video feed? Our video streaming tool is still in BETA and is under development, we plan to introduce video feeds in the future.
How can I record or save my sets? Schedule a live event in your schedule beforehand and toggle on the record setting. This will record your show regardless of you streaming to Mixcloud or not.
Troubleshooting
I can't find video streaming in my dashboard: Video streaming is under the left hand options in the Radio.co studio. If it's not there, it might be you need to upgrade your plan.
