We’ve added a one-time passcode to logins as an extra layer of protection for your account.

Why we've introduced a one-time passcode

Over the past year there’s been a rise in third-party data leaks across the web. When that happens, email addresses and passwords can end up exposed and attackers often try the same details on other services. Even if Radio.co hasn’t been breached, reused login details can still put accounts at risk.

The one-time passcode helps prevent this. Even if someone has your email address and password from elsewhere, they won’t be able to access your Radio.co account without the code sent to your email. This protects your station, uploaded media and listeners from malicious actors.

This is required for all users from

2 February 2026.

How it works

  1. Enter your email and password

  2. We send a passcode to your email address

  3. Enter the passcode to complete login

The code is single use and expires after a short time. If it expires, request a new one from the login screen. If you still don't receive the code, check your spam or junk folder. Ensure that emails from studio@radio.co are not marked as spam to prevent future issues. Add studio@radio.co to your safe sender list for ongoing reliability.

What do I need to do?

To make sure you don’t run into issues, please:

  • Check you can access your login email: We’ll send your code to the email address on your account. You’ll need to open this email to complete login.

  • Update your email if needed: If you no longer use the email linked to your account, get in touch with Support. We’ll help you update it.

  • Avoid shared inboxes: Try to use a personal email that only you can access.- Check your spam folder: Sometimes emails with your passcode may be marked as spam. To avoid missing them, add studio@radio.co to your safe sender list and ensure emails from this address are not flagged as spam moving forward.

What if I get locked out?

If you can’t access your login email, contact our Support team. We’ll need to verify that you have authorised access to the account before we can help you log back in.

  • Station owners: We’ll ask for recent billing details to confirm your identity.

  • Collaborators: Please contact the station owner for assistance.

This process helps us keep your station safe and prevents unauthorised access.

Troubleshooting OTP Issues

If you’re having trouble with receiving or using your One-Time Passcode (OTP), follow these steps to resolve issues:

Common Problems

1. Emails Marked as Spam Look in your spam or junk folders if you do not see the OTP email in your inbox. Unmark emails from studio@radio.co as spam, and add this address to your safe senders list.

2. Network or Provider Delays Network or email provider issues can delay email delivery. Make sure your internet connection is stable and that your email service is functioning correctly.

3. Multiple OTP Requests Avoid requesting multiple codes in quick succession, as each new code invalidates the previous one. Use the most recent OTP sent to you.

4. Browser or Cache Issues Clearing your browser's cache or using an incognito/private mode can resolve certain login issues. Ensure you begin a fresh browser session before entering the latest OTP.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Check Your Email Inbox: Search in both your inbox and spam/junk folders for the OTP. Mark emails from Radio.co as safe.

  2. Request a Single OTP: Wait for the first code to arrive before requesting a new one to avoid synchronisation problems.

  3. Use Incognito Mode: Open your browser in private/incognito mode to bypass cache interference.

  4. Enter the Code Promptly: Input the OTP as soon as you receive it to ensure its validity.
