We want to be transparent about how our features develop. We're retiring the term "Beta", instead using three clear lifecycle statuses so you always know a feature's stability, who can access it, and what support to expect.
Overview of Feature Statuses
Status | Meaning | Access | Support |
🧪 Labs | Experimental / validation phase. Early testing to gather feedback. May change significantly, be removed, or never ship. | Early testers, selected cohorts, or opt-in. | No SLA. Feedback is passed directly to the product team. |
🚀 Early Access (EA) | Incomplete feature, but committed. Active development is ongoing, but committed to taking it to full release. | Any station can opt in via Station Settings. Can be toggled off at any time. | No SLA for general bugs. Critical issues (SEV3) are addressed during working hours. |
✅ General Availability (GA) | Stable and fully supported. Standard, production-ready product meeting all technical requirements. | All users. | Standard SLA and severities. Handled via normal bug and incident channels. |
