Voice Studio is currently in Beta. Please let us know if you have any feedback.

Creating voice tracks is often a cumbersome process, and sometimes may include using 3rd party services to do so. Radio.co has come up with a solution, Voice Studio.

Voice Studio allows you to record, mix and manage voice tracks directly within the Radio.co platform, enabling you to create engaging announcements for your station.

You can:

  1. Record Human Voice tracks: Record your own voice tracks, mix them with one music track and multiple voice tracks, and manage them within the Voice Studio.

  2. Use AI Voice tracks: You also have the option to generate and mix AI voice tracks using our pre-selected AI voices.

Who is this available to?

  • Voice Studio is only available to stations on Standard, Plus and Premium plans. If you're on the Lite plan, you can upgrade in Billing > Change Plan.

  • Guest DJ and DJ users do not have access to Voice Studio (regardless of station plan).

Getting Started:

In Radio.co, select 'Voice Studio' on the left side menu.

Once on Voice Studio, you will see the above page. Select 'Add Track' to see your options:

  • Record Voice Track: Record your own voice, similar to the existing Voice Tracking feature.

  • Generate AI Voice: Generate a voiceover from a selection of AI powered voices, read from a script.
Add Media From Your Library: Upload a track from your Radio.co Library.

  • Add Voice Track From Your Library: Use an existing Voice Track (from the Voice Tracking section) on Radio.co.

  • Add Recording From Your Library: Upload a recording from your Radio.co Library.

  • Add Sounds From Radio.co Library: Use sounds provided by Radio.co.

  • Upload Audio File From Device: Upload a track from your computer.

Voice Studio supports keyboard shortcuts to streamline your workflow:

Recording Voice Track:

Select 'Record Voice Track' from the menu, and the side drawer will appear on the right:

Microphone: Choose your Microphone from the list. We'll start with your default system device.

Use Script: This area is useful to enter, or generate a script template.

Record: Click the red circle to start the recording. Press again to stop the recording. You will be offered a preview prior to saving to the Voice Mixer.

Generate AI Voice

When selected, a new drawer will appear on the right side of the screen.

If you haven't selected a voice already, choose one from the drop down. We support English in US, Canadian, British and Australian dialects, along with Spanish.

You can preview each voice using the play button to the left, and review their tone characteristics on the right.

Click Select next to the voice that with the right fit for your voice track to continue.

Enter your script, or choose some samples using the options on the screen.
The AI Voice will read everything you enter here. Don't add additional instructions or tone cues. To create pauses, we recommend using short sentences and break them up using dashes, em dashes and commas where appropriate.

Click Generate and we'll get to work on your clip. This can take up to 1 minute.

Once generated, you can preview the clip, and add it in to your Voice Studio session.

Please note, you will receive 2,000 credits per month to use AI features.

Each character is 1 credit, so you can script 2,000 characters per month.

A character is defined as uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, such as punctuation marks
